Copeland Borough Council has appointed consultants to undertake a feasibility study for the re-use of a key town centre site and develop the business plan for the agreed preferred use to support town centre regeneration. The feasibility study and business plan will become key documents supporting the business case for Whitehaven’s Future High Streets Fund application to government.
This commission focuses on one of the key sites in the FHSF bid for which we require a feasibility assessment and business plan to underpin future use to support the transformation of Whitehaven town centre. The reports produced will become supporting documents within the Business Case submission to MHCLG in April 2020.
