Lot 1: Supply and Delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE);

Lot 2: Supply and Delivery of Workwear and;

Lot 3: Supply and Delivery of Corporate Wear

Tenderers are permitted to submit a tender for each lot.

The provision of ‘Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)’ relates to clothing and products designated for protecting Places for People's employees against health or safety risks at work including (but not limted to) safety helmets, gloves, eye protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear, safety harnesses and respiratory protective equipment (RPE). In some cases, these will be branded i.e. helmet transfers. The successful suppliers will be able to demonstrate knowledge and compliance with safety regulations within the UK. For this particular lot (Lot 1), Places for People are seeking the appointment of up to 3 contractors for the supply and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by way of a framework agreement. The first ranked supplier on this lot will be directly awarded the contract for Places for People's requirements. The second and third ranked suppliers will be awarded a position on the framework and will be available for mini competitions, ad-hoc supply and for the case of early termination of the first ranked supplier.

The framework will be in place for four (4) years, with the underlying Places for People being in place for 3 years, with an optional extension of a further 1 year period - making a possible contract term of 4 years.
