The Norfolk Continuing Care Partnership is an operational unit of NHS Norwich Clinical Commissioning Group, providing services to NHS Norwich, NHS West Norfolk, NHS South Norfolk and NHS North Norfolk Clinical Commissioning Groups.
NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (NHS AGCSU) on behalf of The Norfolk Continuing Care Partnership is looking for a fast track CHC service involving purchasing nursing homes beds and domiciliary care rounds for the following lots:
Lot 1: 1 x Care Home Bed, West Norfolk,
Lot 2: 1 x Care Home Bed, North Norfolk,
Lot 3-6: 4 x Care Home Beds, Norwich (maximum two beds per home),
Lot 7-8: 2 x Care Home Beds, South Norfolk (maximum one bed per home) (Note: Commissioners require the homes in this location to be within 18 miles, by road, of the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital).

The contracting authority will be using an eTendering system for this procurement exercise. The services described within this notice relate to the light touch regime in the Public Procurement Regulations 2015. Neither the publication of this notice nor the employment of any particular terminology nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that the contracting authority intends to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations. Please see published documentation for further details.
RJ Francis are the only bidder in lots 3-6. With RJ Francis being awarded lots 3 and 4 and the stated intent within the invitation to tender (ITT) documents of no bidder being awarded more than two beds in Norwich, consequently there is no award in lots 5 and 6.
The procurement exercise did not produce a result for lot 11 as there were only two bidders for the three care round lots and there was a stated intent in the ITT that no bidder would be awarded more than one lot.
