Successful bidders will work collaboratively with AWS to deliver our purpose: ‘To bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop’. This procurement will be conducted in three lots: Lot 1 Ecology Services, Lot 2 Archaeology Services and Lot 3 Arboriculture Surveys. Bidders with the highest scores will be awarded on to the frameworks, with up to a maximum of; Ecological Services x 12 suppliers, Archaeological Services x 8 suppliers, Arboriculture Surveys x 12 suppliers. Agreements will be for up to 5 years with 3 x 12 month extension options per agreement to deliver the requirements set out in the specification and draft contract documentation which will be provided to bidders. Work will be primarily allocated on a call-off basis, however in certain circumstances there will be provision for suppliers to enter into mini-competitions once the framework agreements are in place. AWS believes the key benefits of these agreements will be:
— agreed and consistent methodologies for these services to be delivered across the whole Anglian Water Services (AWS) region,
— potential for biodiversity net gain in accordance with relevant legislation and AW’s target of at least 10 % net gain,
