Abstract

The SRS partners, which includes multiple Public Sector organisations, are currently looking to explore the possibilities of Robotic Process Automation Technology. Working collaboratively, we are interested in understanding how robotics can work for us to improve our process efficiencies and what benefits can be realised as a result. This is a true collaborative project and suppliers would be working with the SRS and the partners to develop a joint approach to this new and emerging technology. We will be holding a supplier day with interested suppliers, the aim of the day is for information purposes only, to help SRS partners develop an understanding of what technology and systems are available on the market and what considerations and limits we would need to consider. The supplier day will take place virtually on April 21st 2021, due to current restrictions. We will be offering a 30 minute slot to interested suppliers on the day and the 30 minute slot will consist of a presentation from the RPA provider which must inform the partners in the following areas: - the base underlying RPA technology; - the ability to share the use of robots between the partners and between processes; - the ability to share processes with each other and indeed take from elsewhere; - examples of the use of the supplier’s RPA tools in the Public Sector and the benefits realised; - the business change support and engagement support that the supplier can provide throughout the process; - the ability to upskill our resources to support with the development of future RPA independently. Venue: Microsoft Teams There will be ten time slots on the day April 21st 2021 will be allocated by the SRS at the close of play on April 14th 2021.
