Description of the goods or services required

The appointed Contractor shall be required to carry out cyclical servicing and reactive breakdown repairs of Adaptive Equipment including stairlifts, through-floor lifts, hoists, specialist bathtubs and automatic/adapted toilets.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The estimated annual contract value is 30,000.00 GBP. It is intended that the contract will commence in July 2021, and subject to annual reviews, run for a period of three years with the option for renewal, as decided by CCHA, for an extension of up to a year, and then an extension of a further additional year, subject to satisfactory reviews based upon performance and quality of service and delivery. The maximum duration of the contract is therefore five years. The total contract value included in this notice is therefore subject to review by CCHA and is not guaranteed, as detailed.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of Tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any time and not to proceed with the award of all or parts of the contract at any stage of the procurement process.
