Abstract

Marine Power Systems’ (MPS) mission is to become a world leader in the manufacturing and supply of marine energy extraction hardware by having the highest performance and most cost-effective technology available in the market. MPS will demonstrate its sector leading wave energy converter and floating offshore energy platform system at the grid connected BiMEP test site in northern Spain. The Megawatt Scale (MWS) Demonstrator project will begin operation in early 2023. The project has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government and significant private investment has been received to support the project. MPS has already awarded major contracts to deliver the MWS Demonstrator project, including agreements with PRINCIPIA, Bourbon Subsea Services, Black & Veatch as well as specialist companies in the sector. More information can be found at https://www.marinepowersystems.co.uk/our-blog/. As part of this project we are now seeking an experienced contractor to lead the engineering, procurement, and construction management [EPCM] of the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) system.
