We are now in the early stages of RIBA Level 3, Design Development, with the
aim of submitting a planning application in early summer. We are planning to proceed
with RIBA Level 4A Technical Design soon after.
The intention is to develop both the building next door, which has been unoccupied
for a long time, and our building. This would allow us to upgrade
the venue with both improved facilities and increased capacity, and also
plug a gap in the city’s current live music infrastructure through the creation of a
new 500 capacity space.
Clwb Ifor Bach (CIB) is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Cost/QS Management Consultant to work with the CIB Steering Group, in-house team, client project manager, business consultant and appointed design team (when appointed) to review the current cost plan and deliver a more detailed construction/development cost plan following submission of our planning application in early summer 2022.
