Our Portside Village scheme in Middlesbrough, is being delivered by our partner Miller Homes and will provide 109 affordable homes to the local community; 59 will be available to rent and 50 will be available to buy through Shared Ownership. The homes are to be a mix of 2, 3 and 4-bedroom properties, both detached and semi-detached, and will appeal to a broad range of prospective homeowners; singles, couples, and growing families.We are providing 2 show homes for our customers at Portside Village: a 4-bedroom Hazelwood, 1150sqft and a 3-bedroom Buxton, 819sqft. The lounge of the 4-bedroom Hazelwood will also serve as our sales office. The office needs to be a functional space we can work from and welcome visitors whilst feeling welcoming and homely. We would like the office area incorporated into the overall design of the home rather than a formal or branded office.

We are acquiring 32 units from Strata Homes on their Dream development in Hull. 20 of the homes will be available to buy through Shared Ownership. We plan on furnishing one of the units to use as a show home: a 2.5 story, 3-bedroom Geneva, 1184sqft. As this development is outside of our core area, and as the 20 units will be handed over in bulk over a short period of time, we feel this project will lend itself better to the furniture rental option.

The contracting authority will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period from the day the information on the award of the contract is communicated to tenderers.If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been fully resolved, the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules to take action in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland). Any such action must be started within 30 days beginning with the date when the aggrieved party first knew, or ought to have known, that grounds for starting proceedings had arisen. The Court may extend the time limit for starting proceedings where the Court considers that there is a good reason for doing so but not so as to permit proceedings to be started more than 3 months after that date. Where a contract has not been entered into, the Court may order the setting aside of the award decision or order the contracting authority to amend any document and may award damages. If the contract has been entered into the Court may only award damages, or where the contract award procedures have not been followed correctly, declare the contract to be ineffective.
