II.1.4) Short description
Nottingham City Council is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified organisations for the provision of a Supported Lodgings service.
Nottingham City Council aim to procure a Supported Lodgings service which enables children in care and care leavers (young people) aged 16-21 to be offered accommodation in a home environment when leaving foster care or residential care. Supported lodgings are provided by people who can offer a bedroom in their homes, along with some level of support to young people.
This service is intended to support up to 20 young people, who are making steps towards independence.
The provider will supply the project staff required to recruit, train, and support the hosts and liaise with Children’s Social Care and Leaving Care Services to ensure appropriate matching of young people to these hosts.
The contract duration will be for 2 years. The total contract value is estimated to be a maximum of £696,000 over the total length of the contract and is made up of a block element and a variable payment for each young person placed. The anticipated contract start date will be 1st July 2024.
This contract will be let under the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
