Mae Ysgol Bontnewydd wedi llwyddo i wneud cais am arian i adeiladu campws Ysgol/Cymunedol newydd. Bydd yr Adeilad yn gwasanaethu cymuned Bontnewydd, gan wneud y mwyaf o'r defnydd a rennir o adnoddau, gan gynnwys ysgol gynradd, cyfleusterau cymunedol a gofal plant. Bydd yn enghraifft o gynaliadwyedd o ran lleihau carbon wedi'i fewnosod ac adeilad di carbon wrth defnydd. Cam cyntaf y gwaith fydd symud Ysgol bresennol y 1970au i Adeiladau dros dros dro. The Building will serve the community of Bontnewydd, maximising the shared use of resources, including a primary school, community facilities and wrap-around childcare. It will be an exemplar in sustainability in the reduction of embedded carbon and zero carbon in operation. The first phase of the work will be decanting the existing 1970’s School into temporary accommodation. This will allow demolition of the buildings early 2025. You are invited to tender to establish a temporary School which will briefly comprise the following.
