This is a notice of interest for the following services. Please email nikki.whyte@sse.com by 11/04/24 to register your interest. A PQQ/ITT will then be released to the interested parties via our Jaggaer Portal.
SSET wish to engage Forestry Consultant(s) to support the design, planning and monitoring of forestry project capital development works. The objective of this framework is to engage a sufficient competent forestry consultancy resource to provide – in summary,
• assessment of impact of network development on forestry, woodland and associated habitats
• to provide appropriate woodland information and reports supporting applications for planning consents and EIA’s
• to provide forestry surveying and digital mapping services
• to provide measurements and valuations to inform negotiation of timber crop compensation, or loss in respect of other woodland
• to provide forest design plan assessment services
• to support with forestry planning matters
• to support with landowner liaison and agreements
• to create and submit felling applications/permissions on behalf of landowners
• to provide arboriculture tree survey services
• to provide landscape planting design plan services
• provide assessment of developing woodland (stocking density assessment and similar)
These works are in respect of Transmission projects throughout the SHE Transmission network area.
