The provider will deliver services to the local population with sleep apnoea, those requiring non-invasive ventilation outside of tertiary care, and nebuliser / compressor equipment. The same approach to device supply and management, will apply to patients requiring NIV and nebulisers, although there will be no requirement for any diagnostic supporting testing for these groups of patients. They will also need to ensure diagnostic test results, any device utilisation, compliance and monitoring are shared or accessible with the clinical team via a web based portal. The providers are also required to deliver a patient accessible service, whereby patients can access the provider 7 days a week, and have an emergency access for those patients who required 24/7 access, in that the provider will answer telephone calls and respond to device breakdown and emergency replacement.
