Description of the goods or services required

Cyngor Gwynedd’s Highways Engineering and YGC wishes to arrange a framework agreement for Proprietary Treatment. The attached schedules specify the types of services and goods required and details the calling off arrangements within the 3 designated geographical areas.

A Arfon Area Lot 1 – Sub Lot 1.1 – 1.6

D Dwyfor Area Lot 2 –Sub Lot 2.1 – 2.6

M Meirionnydd Area Lot 3 – Sub Lot 3.1 – 3.6

The Services have been divided into the following Sub Lots:

(1.1, 2.1,3.1) Thin Surface Course

(1.2, 2.2, 3.2 ) High Friction Surface

(1.3, 2.3, 3.3) Carriageway Slurry Surfacing incorporating Micro surfacing

(1.4, 2.4, 3.4) Footway Slurry Surfacing

(1.5, 2.5, 3.5) Traffic Management

(1.6, 2.6, 3.6) Ancillary Items

(b) The Authority may award all the Lots (not sub lots) to a single Tenderer. However, separate contracts for each or any combination of the Lots will be awarded to separate Tenderers if it is more economically advantageous to do so.

(c) The Authority may not award the Lot if it is not economically advantageous to do so.

Tenderers are invited to bid for all or any of the above Lots.
