NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit on behalf of NHS Midlands (East) and East of England (the Commissioners) would like to notify the market of an opportunity to submit proposals for the provision of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Hub (Eastern Hub)<br/><br/>The Service will commence on 01/04/2025. The successful provider is expected to be fully operational, providing services from 01/04/2025.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Eastern Hub provision supports Screening Centres in the delivery of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (NHS BCSP) in Midlands (East) and East of England. The aim of the NHS BCSP is to ultimately reduce mortality from bowel cancer by identifying disease or polyps which could lead to disease at an early stage. <br/><br/>The Eastern Hub being commissioned will align to the national NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Service Specification which aim to ensure a consistent and equitable approach across England, and to govern the provision and monitoring of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub Service. <br/><br/>As a result of this Competitive Process, a Contract will be awarded with the successful Provider for a period of 5 years with the Commissioner having the option to extend the Contract for up to a further 4 years. <br/><br/>The Service will commence on 01/04/2025.
