Abstract

The University has a requirement to appoint a contractor to deliver the Social Sciences Connect Programme work (SSCP). This project is an enabler to position Warwick as a regional, national, and international powerhouse for social scientific enquiry with real-world application and impact. The SSCP does so by creating Warwick Social Sciences (WSS) as an institution-wide vehicle to enhance the strength of our constituent disciplines, to promote new interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation across research and education, and to compete globally as a dynamic and distinctive world class institution. This tender will be for the first phase in the SSCP, set to deliver 30,000 m2 GIA new build, including a 24,500m2 development for WBS and 5,000m2 for Economics. Also incorporated will be a 500m2 shared catering facility.
