The works, supplies or services can be provided only by a particular economic operator for the following reason: procurement aiming at the creation or acquisition of a unique work of art or artistic performance
Explanation
The Council has awarded a contract for the design and installation of unique pieces of
art, with the purpose to help support the regeneration of Bangor City. The contract has been
awarded to an internationally renowned artist, living and working in Bangor, who has
experience in delivering large scale portraits, 3D art and bronze pieces. The artist has
created a unique art proposition for the city, taking into account the vision for the
regeneration of Bangor and its ability to support transformational place making that drives
positive social impact.
