Abstract

CAVUHB are looking to procure the services of a Healthcare Planner that will deliver this scheme from OBC, FBC. Due to the timelines of the next JACIE inspection a key aspect of this project is speed and therefore, the preferred construction method is Modular Build, with the proposed option having a Gross Internal Area of 6349.16 Fig 1.0). CAVUHB are seeking to have this project start on site by March 2025 to ensure they are compliant come the next JACIE inspection (Fig 3.0). The project will be procured through a two-stage tendering process, via the Shared Business Services (SBS) or via open tender option, but this will be explored in the OBC. This proposal will provide BMT and Haematology services the required standards to meet the JACIE compliance requirements. The required services for this project will be the Project Manager, Cost Adviser and the design and construction of a new build modular construction. The contract that will utilised throughout this scheme will be an NEC4 Option A Fixed Price Contract with Activity Schedule.
