3.1 Persistent, problematic and perplexing presentations (PPPs) in young people involve complex and often persistent symptoms that are not explained by standard medical diagnostics. These conditions, often named as functional neurological disorders (FND) or Medically Perplexing Presentations (MPPs), pose significant challenges to healthcare providers and can have profound impacts on the affected individuals and their families. <br/><br/>Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking bids from organisations experienced in youth work to partner in delivering an innovative model of support for young people with persistent, problematic and perplexing presentations (PPPs), for the duration of a 12-month pilot. <br/><br/>This service represents an opportunity to lead the way in addressing the needs of young people with PPPs and shaping a brighter future for them and their families.
