II.1.4) Short description
The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Contractor to support the Councils Planned Maintenance, FM and Repairs Teams to undertake Testing, Electrical Repairs & Upgrades to the Councils Housing stock and corporate buildings for a period of two (2) years. The Contract is predominantly for the following:
• Housing & Corporate Testing & Servicing
• Housing & Corporate Remedial Works
• Housing & Corporate Emergency Lighting Servicing & Remedials
• Electrical Fire Safety Works
The Service is to be provided to all the Council's Housing and Corporate properties with an estimated volume of tests to circa 1000 units per year and partial / complete re-wires where necessary. The purpose of the contract is to ensure all Hillingdon housing and corporate stock is tested and compliant in accordance with regulations and thereby the premises left safe for residents and Staff.
