II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The University of York is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced ground surveying company to conduct seismic surveying on behalf of the University of York.
The appointed surveying company shall be required to carry our seismic surveying to include the following services:
- derive subsurface structural models
- identify faulting in Carboniferous and overlying strata
- if present, image fault orientations and throws
- assess potential to infer damage zone around faults
- build understanding of rock properties.
