The SUMIT project is a ground-breaking initiative funded by the PEACEPLUS programme and managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Led by Queen’s University Belfast, in partnership with Trinity College Dublin, Scotland’s Digital Health & Care Innovation Centre (DHI), the University of St Andrews, and the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).
On behalf of its partners, DHI (which is hosted by University of Strathclyde) is seeking to identify 3 digital products which address key challenges for local services and service users.
DHI is keen to engage with interested technology companies to test out current assumptions and seek advice.
Interested companies are invited to a 90-minute online Breakfast Briefing kicking off at 8.30am on Tuesday 31st March. Participants will hear more about SUMIT, the insights being gathered from local services and service users and an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session. Inputs will be used to inform the requirements for a formal tender which is anticipated to be published on Public Contracts Scotland https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/ and OJ EC https://www.ojec.com/ in late Spring 2026.
