Conifer regeneration felling from within an 86 hectare Welsh Government woodland estate site in the Mawddach estuary area, near Dolgellau (Grid ref SH74231636). This site is being managed to revert to broadleaf woodland and it requires felling to waste of self-seeded non-native conifer saplings and small trees throughout the site. All work must be completed in two months over September and October 2026, because of the presence of dormice on the site. The work is being tendered in three blocks of 38, 12, and 19 hectares, and contractors are invited to quote for all or part of these works: this is to ensure that the work can be completed over the two-month period.
