Additional Information

Section I.2 – Additional main activity – freight services.

Arriva plc currently operates train services in the United Kingdom, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy and Spain. This qualification system is intended to cover all these countries as well as further countries where Arriva plc is seeking, or may in the future seek, opportunities.

This qualification system will be used by Arriva plc and its subsidiaries and associated companies (either existing or to be created) and, where permitted, any joint ventures (contractual or corporate) in which Arriva plc or any of its subsidiaries or associate companies has an interest. For the avoidance of doubt this includes Arriva Italia S.r.l and Arriva Italia Rail S.r.l.

The pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) must be obtained from the contact in Section I.1 and returned to the address provided in the PQQ in order for an applicant to be assessed for inclusion on any part or parts of the qualification system.
