The purpose of the tender was to provide a transparent and open procedure for suppliers. The University of Winchester reviewed its current Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) provider and based on the growing needs of our institution to ensure we meet the expectations of our students, chose to tender for the provision of a VLE. This also met part of the strategic mission of the University over the next five years.
