II.1.4) Short description
The Police & Crime Commissioner for Greater Manchester are seeking for suitable service providers to support the delivery of UK event accreditation. The procurement will be split into 2 separate lots, bidders are allowed to bid for 1 or more lots.
Lot 1: Provision of an application management service to provide the hosting, management, maintenance, and further development of a suite of bespoke applications used for the accreditation of attendees at events throughout the UK mainland.
Lot 2: Provision of onsite and remote IT support services to UK based events. The supplier is required to provide and arrange the relevant secure network infrastructure and the necessary hardware, peripherals, and software to allow on site accreditation and barcode scanning at gate entry points. 24/7 support for the infrastructure for the duration of the events is also required.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Lot 1: Provision of an application management service to provide the hosting, management, maintenance, and further development of a suite of bespoke applications used for the accreditation of attendees at events throughout the UK mainland. The applications are written in IBM Domino and IBM Notes, and as such a comprehensive knowledge of these is required.
The contract duration will be for a maximum period of 5 years, three of which will be on a fixed term basis. Followed by an option to extend for a further 2 years on a 1+1 basis subject to performance and meeting GMP's requirements of the contract.
The anticipated budget range for this procurement is approx. 100 000 GBP — 250 000 GBP per annum, as a combined total for delivery of both lots.
Service providers wishing to bid for the services must first register on the Blue Light portal https://uk.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=BLUELIGHT followed by downloading the tender ITT and specification documents.
This is a EU Open tender process, completed tenders must be returned through the same e-tendering system. And all clarification responses raised must also be put through the Blue Light portal.
