Octavia Housing wishes to contract with a suitably qualified and experienced construction contractor to deliver a programme of day-to-day repairs, planned maintenance and re-investment works.
The proposed contract Term is intended to be for an initial term of 10 years with a performance review and satisfaction break clause at the end of year 5. Thereafter, Octavia intend to extend the contract for further terms of 2 years, subject to satisfactory performance up to a maximum term of 20 years (5 + 5 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2). The decision to extend or determine the Contracts at these points will be at the sole discretion of the Client.
The contract will be awarded to a single contractor under the ACA Standard Form of Contract for Term Partnering 2005 Amended 2008, with a schedule of amendments.
