Explanation
This contract has been awarded without prior publication of a contract notice. To the best of the Authority's knowledge, no other supplier is able to provide kits for the UF1000 urine analyser series, which are proprietary to Sysmex UK Ltd.
A VEAT notice was published in TED and a 10 day standstill period was acknowledged prior to any contracts being entered into with Sysmex UK Ltd.
