This tender is for an existing service/contract. Your attention is therefore drawn to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (TUPE) and as amended. As NHS Fife would be neither the transferor nor transferee of the staff in the circumstances of any contract awarded as a result of this invitation to tender, consideration of the application of TUPE in this case is not a matter of direct concern to NHS Fife. Nevertheless, you may wish to note that it is NHS Fife's view that TUPE may apply. It is your responsibility, however, to consider whether or not TUPE applies in the specific circumstances of your bid and to tender accordingly.

It is expected that bidders will make contributions to sustainability and social value including community benefits and low emissions in terms of the type of vehicles to be used if awarded the contract.
