Abstract

The tender seeks proposals from suitably qualified parties to develop the concept, design and to deliver the mobile exhibition with a programme of locations, events and activities around Scotland. The team may be connected with architecture as a creative discipline and must have experience in the field of housing and place making. The team must cover all the necessary skills required to deliver the proposal, with a named lead curator who will act as the team leader, who is the lead contact and manages the team. The other team members may include architects, artists, graphic designers, photographers, digital experts, researchers, writers, or other professionals with relevant interests/expertise.

The appointed team will be responsible for the design, development, delivery and demount of a mobile exhibition along with parallel engagements/associated activities.

Context:

The Programme for Government 2018 committed Ministers to engage extensively with local government, businesses, the third sector, home owners, tenants and others to plan together for how our homes and communities should look and feel in 2040 and the options and choices to get there. The first phase of stakeholder engagement/consultation on Ht2040 has already taken place and the outcomes will be published later in May, a which time, and if time permits, a copy will be made available.

In the meantime, the discussion paper on the future of housing in Scotland, Housing Beyond 2021 provides the relevant background. https://www.gov.scot/publications/housing-beyond-2021/

A full brief, application form and supporting documents, including terms and conditions are attached for reference.
