Contractors who are successful in bidding for this lot will be expected to carry out the following works:
— full fixed wire test and provision of an electronic FWT report (test to include 100 % of circuits and quantity of sample visual inspections as prescribed by BS 7671)
— fixed equipment test and report (to 100 % of all fixed electrical equipment – heaters, hand dryers, electric ovens, etc.),
— circuit references must correspond to the numbered site plan – provided by RMBC,
— provision of a distribution system schematic drawing (indicating DB size, location, type, protective device type and submain size),
— provision of a site plan indicating Distribution board locations,
— distribution board circuit charts to be fitted inside the DB lid at the time of test or ASAP after test,
— test identification sticker (indicating company name, test date and recommended re-test date) to be fitted to each DB lid at the time of test or ASAP after test,
— all access equipment (ladders, scaffolds, etc.),
— provision of remedial costs (for each defect C1, C2 and C3 and any observations and costs for any items identified in the fixed equipment test) – submitted alongside the FWT and FET report,
— all work to be carried out to ensure compliance with the IET 18th Edition – requirements for electrical installations.
