Specialist Forestry Advice Service

Description of the goods or services required
EDP wishes to procure external forestry expertise to support the delivery of commercial business opportunities. This service will provide expert advice on forestry matters as part of marketing and developing commercial opportunities on NRW land (e.g. commercial opportunities arising from the Enterprise Plan under the Energy Development and Recreation & Tourism portfolios). The Energy Delivery Programme (EDP) Management Team will determine when input is required.
Service will include:
Example of Forestry Task & Finish Products:
• Tree / crop valuations and valuation forecasting;
• Site walkovers for forestry purposes;
• Site / habitat assessments;
• Marking sites / coupe marking / coupe planning as necessary;
• Forest Inventory work in line with FC Forest Mensuration Handbook.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/COMPLETING THE Invitation To Tender (ITT).
1. Tenderers should register on the eTendering portal https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk
2. Once registered, suppliers must express their interest as follows:
a. Login to the etendering portal.
b. Select ITT
c. Select ITT's Open to all suppliers
d. Access the listing relating to the contract ITT: itt_73179 and view details.
e. Click on 'Express Interest' button in the 'Actions' box on the left hand side of the page.
3. Once you have expressed your interest, the ITT will move to 'My ITTs', where you can download and where you can construct your reply as instructed.
