Explanation
The copyright licencing authority regulates copyright licences throughout UK. Established under the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 and this licence permits HSC staff to make copies of extracts of certain books, journals, magazines and other periodicals. It is a statutory obligation to pay copyright and this is the statutory body which has responsibility for Copyright Licensing.
