Items provided will need to be maintained for a minimum of 24 months, irrespective of whether or not the item is still under warranty.
A cleaning and maintenance service is required for items supplied in order to minimise the cost of replacing items which are still serviceable and have a minimum of 12 months life remaining.
The Council’s intention was to and has appointed up to three highest-scoring organisations onto this framework. Call-offs from this framework will be on a rotational basis.
The framework is open to all local authorities in England and Wales, where ‘local authority’ has the meaning given in Section 270 of the Local Government Act 1972. Charges for the use of the framework will apply and details of these, and the precise services required, can be found in the tender documentation.
