Extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable for the contracting authority and in accordance with the strict conditions stated in the Directive
Explanation
The procurement process for these contracts, which was in the process of being undertaken, had to be suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The existing contracts expire as of 31 May 2020. We are not now able to complete the evaluation process by the necessary date and thus require an extension.
