The PMO are seeking a media relations partner to support the team with raising awareness of the North Wales Economic Ambition Board and the North Wales Growth Deal.

This will be achieved through the following objectives;

- Prepare press releases and press briefings to promote the North Wales Growth Deal keeping a wide variety of interest groups informed about the progress;

- Establish relationships and pro-actively manage the various news outlets to ensure exposure of the North Wales Growth Deal;

- Identify coverage and interview opportunities;

- Monitor and respond to negative messaging within the press as necessary;

- Maximize press and PR opportunities linked to the key milestones for the North Wales Growth Deal;

- Support with promoting events, conferences and workshops in order to engage with the business sector across the region;

- Work with the Communications and Engagement Officer to prepare key messages about the North Wales Growth Deal;

- Deliver against the North Wales Growth Deal Communications Plan;

- Work with the Communications Leads in UK and Welsh Governments to ensure consistent messages around the North Wales Growth Deal in line with the Communications Protocol;

- Attend briefings and PMO Team Meetings as required;

- Provide 1 day media/PR training to the PMO;

- The above is not an exhaustive list, the PMO will have an active role in promoting the North Wales Growth Deal and the key messages.
