Abstract
Chepstow Town Council (CTC) wish to apply to Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) for a community asset transfer (CAT) of The Drill Hall Chepstow from MCC to CTC.
The Drill Hall Chepstow building is located in the lower part of Chepstow town and is owned by MCC. The main part of the building is leased to CTC for use as an arts and community centre and a smaller part is leased to a local boxing club. CTC is undertaking the CAT as it wishes to secure the whole Drill Hall building for the community of Chepstow forever.
This tender document seeks tenders from capable and experienced contractors and the appointed contractor will have a lead role in the CAT project team.

Experience in delivering similar projects (community asset transfers or community/charity projects) and in identifying and obtaining grant opportunities is necessary to ensure success of the project and therefore applicants should demonstrate a proven track record (e.g., through the inclusion of case studies) in these activities and in implementing the types of deliverables required.
