The products involved are manufactured purely for the purpose of research, experiment, study or development under the condition stated in the Directive (for supplies only)
Explanation:
The T31 shore integration facility has to be configured for the mission system which will be fitted to the T31 frigate. Thales via the Babcock Prime contract are the supplier of the Mission system and as such are the only economic supplier with the necessary proprietary, and specific tooling and test equipment to ensure the T31 mission system is suitable represented, commissioned and operated at the Shore integration facility. The work will include supply of equipment's, integrated systems and technical services including mission system equipment and software updates and assessment and assurance of mission system performance.
