Board Effectiveness Review

Qualifications Wales wishes to award a contract for the provision of a Board Effectiveness Review.

The main objective of the Board Performance Review is to support the Board to operate the highest standard of leadership and governance by:

- Providing an opportunity for all of the Board and Directors to step back and objectively comment on the performance of the Board, its operation, impact and influence;

- Collectively identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The review is to include all Board Members, including the Chief Executive Officer, and the five Directors. It must be delivered in a timeframe that allows for the outputs of the review to be fed back to the Board at its meeting on 24 November 2022. The venue will be in the Newport area.

The supplier must deliver an end to end service to QW including:

- A mechanism to seek views from the Board Members and Directors

- A proposal for questions and themes to be explored;

- Collection and analysis of Board Member / Director views, and the production of a report by 20 October 2022;

- Facilitation of the review outputs and analysis to the Board Members and Directors on 24 November 2022, to help the Board interpret the results and undertake a next steps action planning session (location: Newport area).
