This Lot is for the Storage and Distribution of Pandemic Influenza Antivirals (PIPP) on behalf of NHS Scotland. This lot consists of approximately 1,200 pallets of ambient medicines and consumables that are stockpiled in the event of a Pandemic Influenza outbreak. Distribution would be required to pre-defined NHS Scotland sites in the event of stockpile deployment and there may be a requirement for pre-loading remote sites with stock throughout the duration of the Contract in line with product expiry dates.

The supply of Goods in this Lot will be required to be recycled into all health boards across NHS Scotland, full details of which will be disclosed in the final Invitation to Tender document. This lot consists of approximately 600 pallets with around 30 requiring secure Controlled Drug storage, 3 requiring cold storage and the remaining ambient.

This Lot is for the Storage and Distribution of CBRN agents on behalf of NHS Scotland. This Lot consists of approximately 80 pallets of ambient medicines and consumables and 1 pallet that requires cold storage that are stockpiled in the event of a CBRN event. Distribution would be required to pre-defined NHS Scotland sites in the event of stockpile deployment and there may be a requirement for pre-loading remote sites with stock throughout the duration of the contract in line with product expiry dates. Please note there is a clause in this Lot that the Contractor must be able to deliver to all mainland health boards within 5 hours.

This PIN does not constitute a call for competition, it is for information only. Any procurement of services by the Authority will be carried out strictly in accordance with the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
The Authority may use this PIN for pre-procurement market engagement in due course. Therefore, please register interest in this notice to ensure you receive any further communications. Participation or non participation in this PIN shall not prevent any Supplier from participating in a potential future procurement, nor place any supplier at an advantage or disadvantage in a potential future procurement. Participation in any pre-procurement market engagement process will be at each supplier's own cost and expense.
