II.2.4) Description of the procurement
New City College require 6 hours of training per week in Hackney for a group of 25 students and 6 hours in Redbridge per week for a group of 40 students. The supplier will focus on fitness and conditioning, it will be non-contact, and will provide training on Coaching Education and on Fitness Instruction. Our objectives are for the students to gain the qualifications required to enhance their career prospects. The rationale for our ‘academy’ provision in Sport is to partner with elite level clubs and organisations that enable students to access the highest level of sport specific coaching, expertise and development opportunities. The programme will focus on player development, as well as development students’ coaching skills, and preferably giving a range of employability and enrichment opportunities in other areas of sport and the sports business
