The Emotional Health and Wellbeing Service for children and young people will aim to provide high quality evidenced based interventions for children and young people with a range of emotional, health and wellbeing needs. The service will ensure that children and young people can thrive and fulfil their developmental, social, emotional and educational potential.
The Service will support children and young people with a:
• Child in Need plan
• Child Protection Plan, and
• Children in Care and Care Experienced Young People.
and who do not meet the threshold for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS).
The Service will provide consultation, assessment; short to medium term evidenced based interventions and referral to appropriate level of services, where assessment indicates longer term or more complex needs are required.

The procurement falls outside the scope of application of the Directive
Explanation
This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice for Direct award C. The
awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime)
Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts
Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the
publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by
13th May 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as
an intention to award under the PSR.
