In order to implement the decision to expand the enforcement of moving traffic contraventions, there is a requirement to procured, install, operate and maintain a commensurate number of CCTV Cameras. Currently the Council is using CCTV equipment to enforce MTCs at eight locations. The proposal is to increase this to a total not exceeding 25.

Explanation
Business Continuity and Compliance; timescales and an urgency to implement. The CCS RM6099 framework follows the Council's procurement approach hierarchy, namely that frameworks meeting the Council’s needs should be evaluated first and selected when feasible. The new contract would introduce advanced equipment, enhancing the Borough's ability to manage MTCs efficiently and effectively.
