Works to be undertaken to Pier Gardens include, but are not limited to:
• Delivery the scheme as per the drawings outlined in the appendices.
• Site clearance works as per scheme drawings.
• Removal of existing street furniture, signs, bollards and posts.
• Uplift of existing surfacing and installation of new paving and surfaces.
• Procurement of supplies and installing areas of amenity planting, herbaceous planting and trees.
• Procurement of supplies and Installation of terraced walling.
• Procurement of supplies and Installation water play items.
• Procurement of supplies and Installation of new bespoke seating, art installations, signage, bins, cycle stands etc.
• New below ground drainage and connections to existing.
• Formation of foundations for structural elements (lighting columns, walling, CCTV etc).
• Managing statutory utilities to arrange service diversions.
• Installation of pop-up power supplies, water feeds, drinking water points and foot wash facilities.
• Installing new lighting columns and amenity lighting.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Construction of skate facility
The purpose of this section is to outline the required performance criteria and specification of structural works for Cleethorpes Pier Gardens skatepark and to detail concrete types and requirements. For bespoke and structural items not covered in this document, specification notes on the relevant Skatepark Designer's, Engineer's or other consultant's drawings are to be read in conjunction with those outlined in this document.
Should any conflict arise between the specified information, clarity and approval should be sought from the relevant parties prior to construction.
General
1. Do not scale from the drawings. The Contractor is to check all dimensions on site before carrying out works.
2. This specification is to be read in conjunction with all other consultants' and contractors' drawings and specifications, which should be used to verify layout, setting out, finishes etc.
Any discrepancies are to be brought to the attention of The Skatepark designer and the Engineer prior to construction.
3. Where notes in the specification differ from the drawings and details, clarification should be sought from the Skatepark Designer / Engineer.
4. The Skatepark Designer/Engineer should be informed if the site conditions or existing park fabric is inadequate or unsuitable to support the proposed works or differ from the details shown on the drawings.
5. Items noted on the drawings "to be confirmed on site" are to be exposed by the constructors for inspection by / communication to the Skatepark Designer / Engineer at the earliest opportunity.
6. This specification and design use Eurocodes, British Standards, Specification for Highway Work and other design guidance of the current best practice. All Contractor design using loads from the Skatepark Designer / Engineer's design is to be similarly compliant with any associated codes unless agreed otherwise in writing and use updated Standards where applicable.
