Abstract

A call-off competition was prepared on behalf of the Welsh Ministers in order to establish a contract for the Evaluation of the policy supporting Initial Teacher Education via the CCS Research & Insights agreement (RM6126). The successful bidder will be awarded a 12 month contract with an estimated value of GBP 150,000 exc. VAT. The findings and recommendations from this research will inform the development of Welsh Government policy to ensure that the ITE sector in Wales is systematically sufficiently supported to ensure that the vision of ITE in Wales, as set out in the Criteria document, can be achieved. This may not be limited to ITE policy alone but to broader education policy, structures or resources and their role in supporting ITE in Wales. CPV: 73000000, 73110000, 79315000.
