VII.2) Information about modifications

VII.2.1) Description of the modifications

The modification is a 12 month extension on existing terms, bringing the end date to 1 August 2026.

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee

Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

NHS SBS is an accredited framework host under the NHSE accreditation programme. Further details can be found at:

NHS SBS is collaborating with other accredited framework hosts under the above mentioned scheme to procure the next generation of the Advanced Wound Care and Lymphoedema Products and Services framework. As part of this collaboration, all accredited framework hosts are now required to incorporate additional governance measures, including the Cabinet Office Spend Control protocols. The introduction and timing of these new governance steps were unforeseen circumstances that NHS SBS could not have reasonably anticipated within the context of our collaboration.
