Abstract

North Ayrshire Council (“NAC”) on behalf of North Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership (NAHSCP) are looking to notify the market of a potential future contract opportunity for a single provider to deliver a Community Links Network Service. There will be one network covering the Garnock Valley (this includes the towns of Beith, Dalry and Kilbirnie and smaller villages of Gateside, Barrmill, Longbar and Glengarnock) and one network covering Stevenston and surrounding areas.

NAC welcomes expressions of interest from service providers, by completing the questionnaire attached and returning to laurakeane@north-ayrshire.gov.uk before close of business on Friday 13 June 2025.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement

NAHSCP have an ongoing requirement for the provision of a Community Links Network Service for adults, predominately aged between 18-65 with a diagnosis of learning disability.

NAHSCP will work with the provider, service users, carers, families, and key partners to promote a culture of change and to deliver a high quality person centred service that responds effectively to matters that impact on individuals lives and ability to engage in the community.

The purpose of a community link network is to enable individuals to maintain independent living; actively engage in the community as valued and active citizens; and make positive social relationships. Individuals will be able to exercise choice on the form of their participation and be provided with the support and tools to achieve their outcomes.
