REPLACE LLANARMON D.C VILLAGE HALL FLOORING

Description of the goods or services required

The contract is to replace old flooring and to replace with approximately 1175M2. Where modifications/improvements to the tender specification can be found then the buyer would wish to be informed.

A EXISTING FLOOR: To strip out completely and dispose.

B NEW FLOOR:

• Lay sub-base of M.O.T stone.

• Lay a 100ml foundation of concrete.

• Install treated timber C24 floor joists.

• Install a breather D.P.C membrane.

• Install fiberglass insulation.

• Install structural plywood.

• Lay a natural lacquered oak-engineer floating floor.

• Fit skirting boards.

• To consider an optional extra of mechanical ventilation to floor void with 6 fans and electrical wiring) subject to further costing.

Llanarmon DC Village Hall LL20 7LD is situated at the end of the Ceiriog Valley, 6 miles from Glyn Ceiriog and 12 miles from Chirk. Access is principally via the B4500.

There is access/parking for plant/ready-mix concrete vehicles.

We anticipate that the contract will commence from 01/10/2026 and must be completed no later than the 31/12/2026. A possible extention to this timescale may be negotiable.

Minimum standards and qualification required

(1) This contract has been governed by the UK Pride in Place Grant scheme and the tenders must not exceed the total of the Grant awarded (£42,000)

(2) VAT will be administered the Ceiriog Uchaf Community Council

(3) The total Grant excludes VAT

(4) Contact with Hall officials and a site visit prior to tendering will be important
