Bangor University invites tenders for the operation of a mobile catering concession at Treborth Botanic Garden, located near Bangor, Gwynedd.

The concession will provide high-quality food and beverage offerings to visitors, staff, students and volunteers, and should align with the Garden’s ethos of biodiversity, sustainability, wellbeing and community engagement.

This opportunity is offered as a concession arrangement, with the commercial risk and reward resting with the successful operator. This concession does not create a landlord and tenant relationship and does not confer any rights of exclusive possession.

1. Background Information

Treborth Botanic Garden is a 15-hectare site managed by Bangor University and used for teaching, research, public engagement and community activity. The Garden hosts a range of educational programmes, volunteer activity and public events throughout the year and attracts both local and national visitors.

The University is seeking a catering partner whose offer complements the character of the Garden and contributes positively to the visitor experience, through high-quality food, responsible sourcing and an approach that supports environmental and social sustainability.

The tender will be scored 70% quality / 30% price and there are some mandatory requirements bidders must fulfill (Insurance/CDP information etc..) as details in the ITT.
