The University intends to modernise its wireless network infrastructure through the procurement of HPE Aruba wireless access points (WAPs). This investment will support the University's ongoing digital transformation and ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across all campuses.
This procurement aligns with the University's IT strategy to deliver scalable and resilient wireless services for staff, students, and visitors, supporting academic, research, and operational activities.
The proposed solution will also enable future developments, including IoT integration, supporting initiatives such as smart buildings, robotics laboratories, and wayfinding systems. It will form a foundational layer for campus-wide connectivity. HPE Aruba WAPs provide industry-standard capabilities, including Wi-Fi 6/6E technology, advanced security features, and centralised network management, ensuring a future-ready solution.
